Westmeath to shoot Deirdre and Dannywedding. Thankfully this was the week before the ‘beast from the east’ arrived, though its bitterly cold wind was already making itself known.

Dee and Danny married in a chapel literally across the street from her family home, probably the shortest walk to the church ever.  The reception was in Trim Castle Hotel, apparently scenes from Braveheart were filmed in the castle ruins opposite the hotel.  It was a stunning backdrop and kudos to Deirdre for putting up with the near Baltic conditions at my request

Rob is going to take up a post with Rolls Royce! 

Rebecca's dad will be officiating their wedding in September, with the reception in the Grand Hall at QUB. I'm super excited about this wedding.
